J.R. Jackson

Profile

J.R. Jackson has been in law enforcement for over 23 years. In 2014, he was selected to be a K-9 handler at his local police department. His four-legged partner was a dual-purpose Belgian Malinois, trained to detect narcotics. They were certified in NAPWDA (North American Police Work Dog Association) and OPOTA (Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy). He currently is assigned to the detective division and supervises all speciality units, including the department’s K9 Unit. J.R. is a certified ALERRT and Building Search Instructor. J.R. also holds a certification with AWDA (American Working Dog Association), as a dual purpose handler. J.R. is an approved trainer through OPOTA (Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy), as well as a certifier with AWDA (American Working Dog Association). J.R. has trained successful police dogs which are currently in service, as well as doing drug narcotic searches for private security. In 2019, with his love of police dogs and a desire to produce quality trained working dogs, he and Marc Peluso created Enforcer Working Dogs.


Marc Peluso

Profile

Marc Peluso has served as a law enforcement officer for the past 9 years, as well as a former K-9 handler. He has trained both in the states and overseas (Netherlands) first hand with some of the top vendors and KNPV trainers. Marc has trained successful police dogs which are currently in service, as well as doing drug narcotic searches for private security. He has trained many successful teams that went on to be nationally certified. Marc is an approved trainer through OPOTA (Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy), as well as a certifier with AWDA (American Working Dog Association). Marc has gone on to certify many dogs through both NAPWDA (North American Police Work Dog Association) and AWDA. Enforcer Working Dogs is Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission approved to train police canines and their handlers.

Esmee

Work and Activities

Esmee is a dual purpose narcotic detection dog. She was imported to the U.S. in 2019 and has been trained exclusively by Enforcer Working Dogs. Esmee’s father is none other than KNPV top ranked dog, K9 Youp. Her mother is K9 Benthe.

Diablo

Age: 2 years

Sex: Male

Weight: 65 lbs.

Breed: Belgian Malinois

Handler: Marc Peluso


Work and Activities

Diablo was imported from the Netherlands and boasts an impressive lineage, he is Big Roy's grandson, and his father is none other than Pablo, both KNPV studs. Diablo is a dual-certified police K-9, narcotics detection, and Criminal apprehension dog. He is very social, but fierce when it comes to his duties, he has the perfect blend for a working dog.

Drac

Age: 4 years

Breed: Dutch Shepherd

Work and Activities

Drac is a dual-purpose narcotic detection and criminal apprehension patrol dog. He excels at dock diving and competes in multiple international dock diving organizations. Drac is also involved in a frisbee league and has participated in three K-9 toss and fetch World Wide Championships.

  • 2023 International Dog Sports (IDS) 1st place supernova champion.
  • North American Diving Dogs (NADD) North East Regionals 2nd place Hydrodash champion.
  • NADD nationals 3rd place Hydrodash and Distance champion.
  • He currently holds DE, HDE, HOSI, HOSII dock diving titles.


Roman

Age: 1 ½ years

Sex: Male

Weight: 75 lbs.

Breed: German Shepherd

Handler: Michael Peluso


Work and Activities

Roman was imported to the U.S. in May, 2023 and was trained on narcotics scent detection by Enforcer Working Dogs. Roman possesses a very high work drive and genuinely enjoys scent detection and tracking. He loves taking walks, playing fetch and keeping a close eye on his little human. Roman is very energetic and always ready to perform.

Asta

Age: 1 ½ years

Sex: Female

Weight: 50 lbs.

Breed: German Shepherd

Asta was imported to the U.S. in August 2023 and was trained on narcotic scent detection by Enforcer Working Dogs.

Koda

Age: 2 years

Sex: Female

Weight: 60 lbs.

Breed: Belgian Malinois

Handler: Dan Earley


Work and Activities

Koda was imported to the U.S. in August, 2023 and was trained on narcotic scent detection by Enforcer Working Dogs. Koda has a tenacious ball drive. Absolutely no fear! She’ll plow through anything to get to her ball and always has to have two at all times in her mouth. Koda enjoys playing tug, going for walks and exploring, and chasing her furry sisters. She rules the roost! Come to find out, after working Koda for single purpose narcotics detection, she actually has the potential to be used as a bite dog as well and personal protection.
